Autumn is finally here, and I seem to be more busy than ever!
On October 9th at 6:30 PM, I’ll be at Towne Book Center & Cafe in Collegeville, PA for the start of another six-week creative writing club. For the first workshop, kids will get an overview of my life as an author via a fun PowerPoint presentation, then it’s time to hand out the fancy notebooks and decide on a group name. I wonder what they’ll call the club this year? Participants also get a copy of SAMANTHA HANSEN HAS ROCKS IN HER HEAD and a starter rock collection!
On Wednesday, October 10th at 6:30 PM, I’ll be joining other NJ authors at the Vogelson Branch of the Camden County Library System. If you’re near there, please stop in for a personally autographed copy of SAMANTHA HANSEN HAS ROCKS IN HER HEAD.
Saturday, October 13, I’m in Rosemont, PA for the annual Push to Publish Conference held at Rosemont College. During the day, attendees will hear me talk about query letters, slush piles, picture books, middle-grade novels, and more. I’ll also be part of a speed date/editing program where I’ll provide feedback on stories.
And that’s just THIS WEEK.
Bring on the coffee! Some pumpkin pie wouldn’t hurt either.
