Tootsie the Turtle
She was a sweet, young box turtle who walked off a curb and flipped upside down. I took her to the Wetlands Institute because I thought she was an endangered terrapin. The nice folks there took her in and promised to find her a lovely place near a forest, field, and stream, just like the turtle in LOOK WHAT I CAN DO!. I named her Tootsie, kissed her good-bye, and wished her well.
