This week I got to chat with two classrooms in Indiana via Skype. We read books, made some noise, sang a song, and even squeezed in a Q and A session. The students learned a bit about my revision process and where I get the ideas for my stories. I learned what awesome interviewers they were. For example:
Q: What’s your favorite writing tip?
A: Go outside and play, clear your head, and come back energized and ready to dig in.
Q: How long did it take you to get a book published?
A: Years! Longer than you’ve been alive!
