I hope to see you at the PA School Librarians Conference on Friday, May 1 (Hershey, PA) where I’ll be hosting a panel of terrific picture book, middle grade, and young adult authors. Our presentation will take you on an imaginary flight across the USA and beyond as we highlight how to use settings (destinations) in books to illustrate key Common Core and STEM components.
Then on Saturday, May 2, you’ll find me at the largest children’s book festival in America: the Hudson Children’s Book Festival! Join me for story time at 10:30 as we sing and dance to the rhyme and rhythm found in CITY STREET BEAT. Later, I’ll be on hand to sign books. Come on out and meet tons of authors–enough to fill an entire gymnasium!
