I recently attended NJASL and got to meet many, many school librarians from the Garden State. What a nice bunch! For two days I hung out with author friends at Authors’ Alley, and as librarians filtered through, going from session to session, they stopped to talk with us about writing, their schools, their library space, and books, Books, BOOKS!
If you’ve ever thought that libraries have gone the way of the dinosaurs, you need to meet these passionate, creative professionals. They’re taking library science into the future, and I just hope I can continue to speak their language.
